About us
The Independent Society of Carb Rankers, or ISOCRA, is a proud and historied organisation.
Although our origins lie in 404BCE with our founder Socrates, the society works tirelessly to this day to achieve the mission laid out
by the Philosophical work that established the foundation of the Society. It is a mission which has remained unchanged to this day:
"To Rank Carbs"
ISOCRA holds annual conferences each year where chairmen are elected by the
council. Our current Chair, Steven Gubbins, has been in post since 1998 since he succeeded
Edgar Gubbins.
ISOCRA archives currently consist of over sixteen million answers to The Carb Question. If you'd
